Have now got my dellortos mounted on the irmscher manifold, fitted the throttle linkage tonight, but the ball jointed rod stops against the balancing link on less than a qaurter throttle? Ideas on how to solve this and pics of your linkages would help a great deal.

the original works magard ones had a slight kink in it, some of the copy linkages dont. just put a small bend in it.

the balance bar should also have the extension piece cut off if its not already done so

hmm, from looking at the pics in various features you all seem to have different levers to what I have. In most pics you have a longer, kicked-out lever on the left carb which lets you put the actuating rod between the lever and the carb. what type of lever arm is this as I might have to buy one.

The lever on the left carb looks exactly the same as my Dellorto's.

check that guy above isnt using webbers as there may well be a difference
