hi just bought a fast road cam

all ive got is the cam, i know i need a new head gasket and i need new folowers
but does anyone know if i can use standard followers or piper followers?

and if theres anything else il need?

You can use standard followers. As long as they are in good condition and not worn.

depends. take a pic of the piper ones and your std ones.....

all will do your job, unless your after the ultimate, which in that case means measuring about 30 for geometry on the actual valve you are for using it and skimming cam carrier etc to suit what you want...

for a fast road setup you simply dont need to, i do this for the competion engines, as it makes the difference of 3hp on a typical tarmac engine and safe guards the valvetrain from wiping off the end of the follower which can happen on refprofile cams etc
