i have the green cotton filter.. part no.P113 i think on ma 1.2i and ditching the pancake box has left the 2 vacum hoses ports on the carb exposed and with the engine on the one on the right looking in from the front of the car, sucks! and when i put my finger over it makes the engines revs die, so if its sucking then surely i need some filter or cork it or something cos the induction kit works but having that single port thing sucking is a bit odd! so if anyone has dealt with this its identical to a bolt on,

Just block them off.

you sure? the one on the right of the carb when covered makes the revs drop?

It will do as you have a air leak which you stop when you cover the hole.

IIRC i was told just block them.

Connect the pipes onto them, then crush the end of the pipe with some pliers and melt the end with a fag lighter(best to do this away from the TB and fuel lines  )

yeah right....boom!!! well i shall try it whats the worst that can happen it will just play around, all fun and games!! it does make a cool sound when the engine turns off, my mate said the only other car he knows which makes it is a GTO, it makes a kind of star-trek door noice...lol

I had the same problem with this induction kit, but it was only one vaccum pipe i had. What i done was went on e-bay and bought a vaccum gauge for ?20 and hocked it up to the pipe. Looks pretty cool.
