why do you have go fully comp on a car worth less than a grand?

mate my advise to you is, SELL YOUR CAR, otherwise you wont be driving it, (INSURED) for a long time, gte are group 14 i think, its hard enuff getting insured on anything from 7-9

no way at all your gonna get any quotes under 2k and fully comp, my first cars at 18, been 1.4 1.6 were all 1500 3rd party fire theft,

as for fully comp STAY AWAY FROM THAT, with any car worth less than 2k no point in paying the extra for what it gives you,

group 11 or 12 depending on insurer - Mine is group 14 because it's a special GSi :-D

personally, with the hassle I'm going through at the moment with claiming for an accident that wasn't my fault, I will never go through an insurance broker again, I would go with somebody direct e.g. norwich union, direct line etc

I'm with HIC who are a broker and supposedly 'good' but they have been total crap IMO. A month and fcuk know's how many phone calls later I am absolutely none-the-wiser as to the progress of where my claim is at.

When I first informed them it was like pass-the-parcel on the phone, I phoned HIC up, they said 'ring this number', then that person said 'ring this number' and so on...utter b*llocks. Sorry, for a grand a year of my money I'd expect some type of service (as I told them myself, to which I still had to contact all the separate parties dealing with the claim myself), total sh*t, would never use them again

Just my 2p's worth...

Go direct.
