Clutch went bang!

I was drivin today stuck in a huge traffic jam, my clutch and brakes were getin very squeeky. Anyway, i got my speed up and on the way home after the hold up, i put my clutch to the floor and there was a big sort of bang/snap, the clutch still works but only if you really really force it down with your toes. Does this mean anything?

Reply ASAP cos i got work in the mornin and i dont want to look a prick standin there with a clapped out nova, what would it do to theier repuitation!

clutch + bang + not working as it was before = screwed

so yeah, its sorta deaded, and you could do more damage using it. Plus its dangerous
