vynil on door pillar

hi, how hard is this to get off. Its the matt vynil that is on the door pillar. i have just got a new door sprayed and put on and it doesnt have the vynil on it so it looks a bit odd on the other side. Is it just a case of heating it up and pealing then about 2hrs of heating the glue up and pealing that off like the rubbing strips????

took me ten mins to take min off

did it leave much glu on, because when i took the rubbing strips off it took for ever to get the rest of the glue off?

nope, used a hot air gun, got the pannel really really warm, came off real easy

was thinking of doing it all this weekend because since my car got broke into i just could not be arsed. but now i have brand new door and another parcel shelf i feel like getting it really shiny again, back to the good old days. but with this really cold weather we have been having it could take a while
