I have a mk1 dash and clocks (no rev counter)

I want to the loose the dash and swap to gauges. I already have a lucas rev counter but here is the question:

MY DASH JUST HAS A LIGHT FOR BATTERY AND OIL, TO FIT AN OIL PRESSURE GAUGE AND VOLMETER WHAT DO I WIRE THEM TO? OR DO I NEED SENSORS OF SOME SORT?

TA MUCH,

7IM.

ok matey,

the volt meter will just sit across a pos and a neg within your dash loom, plus a pos for illumination.

as for you oil pressure, i would advise an electronic one. the combined sensors were on the mk2 astra gte's IIRC, swap this for your exising switch sensor and off you go.

otherwise you'll need to braze a nipple onto your sump and run copper tubing to the gauge of it if it's the manual type.

hope it helps
