Right i'v Got myself a GSi Nova thats in Poor shape with a blown head gasket and no Loom... If i stick a 1600 Carb and inlet and coil on it, will it run?

I would say Yes.
If you can get a carb inlet that matches the gsi head, i dont think many, if any carb engines have round inlet ports.

You would also need the coil wiring up to ignition etc.
And you would need a dizzy that had a vac advance, the fuel injection dizzys aren't "real" dizzies, they just distribute the spark.

TBH, i wouldn't bother, a gsi loom went on Ebay for 99p last night.
And you can easily replace the head gasket, and get a head skim done.

Na, fuck it. Was only gonna take it to the forrestry for a nights crack but i'm sure i'll butcher it and find some use for most of it!!
