one of the nicest conversions i did the engine for was a 1300 16v suzuki that competes in rallying over here.
9500rpm for not a lot of work
Wasn't Rory Kennidys by any chance? Revs to 10500RPM
are there any guides on fitting the swift engine?
what do u do about engine mounts gear box an drive shafts
The Hayabusa engine is a good conversion.

vtec is much harder than the swift...
the gearbox is at the opposite end of the engine as the engien turns anticlockwise,
although saying that.. i did one 1600 that made 196bhp.. and its in a mini!
ive always had the idea of a 6 cylinder Mtec lump mid mounted in the back, but i dont have somewhere to do it, the patience, or the skills with a welding torch.
5.0l 48v powered Vaux- Is the future :wink:

1.3 metro gti turbo engines are popular.
or cut out the boot and rear seats and add a hayabusa turbo engine (they can be taken to well over 400bhp) using a Z-cars roll cage and rear axle. make the car rear whee drive as well!
bit pricy though;
