Have only had her a couple of weeks and havent really done owt to her yet, but i thought i'd show u guys anyhoo!!

She's a '92 1.2 Mertit with 86,000 on the clock. She's lowered 40mm on Jamex springs and until i got her that was about all she had done!!

http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a101/teamlsm/Nova003.jpg
Then i got a couple of tyres for the other two Corsa SXi rims, polished her and fitted some ice:

http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a101/teamlsm/Nova005.jpg
then drove her for around a week only to discover a warped disc due to a siezed caliper so i replaced the caliper and fitted a pair of discs and set of pads to her:

whilst searching through my tool box lookin for a brake pipe clamp i found a wee volt gauge and decided to fit it:

Like i said nowt special, but as im sure u lot will appreciate its a long process to perfection!!

Nice Base project, plenty of stuff round our parts to do the Wee motors p. If you're looking for stuff mate, just gimme a shout.
Where'd you get the new Calipar?

Blackie

@ iainel: nah no impact at all mate, the sub and amp do add a little more wieght but ive noticed no difference in performance. Ive bought a 1.3sr carb for her and once i get the BMW sold im gettin a full 'zorst system complete wi 4 branch manifold, and a little more ice too!! Im currently awaiting delivery of a set of 1.4 sr clocks i purchased on ebay as well.

@ Dod: Cheer's buddy, i need a steering wheel!! LOL!! preferrably a GTE/GSI/SR one if ya have one. I got the new caliper from a local motor factors.

How much for the steering wheel Dod??

looks clean - Beamer looks awesome too !

you should have hung on abit and got a digidash - they have in-built voltmeters or battery meter !

not very accurate tho, tends to drop in big lumps lol

You need a set of wheels badly next mate ane then to get rid of the rub strips and just a good tidying and polishing.

I'm thinking its about time we had another North/North West Nova meeting again.

Mate, all you need is a heat gun and some T-cut, its as easy as mate.

Blackie

Would a hair dryer(sp) be any good?? LOL!

Jack
11-12-05, 05:37 PM
Yeah, ideal as it doesn't get too hot! Plastic scraper and some of that Auto Glym stuff you get for removing bugs and tar deposits should see you good.

White spirit/Meths can work, but will damage the paint if you use too much. And after a while it tends to make you hallucinate lmao

Blackie

COOL!!! must get me some of that then!! LOL!!

Seats look good, but the mirrors only need the trim painting and leaving the edges black...look a little silly all colour coded!

Nice clean project!!
