Windscreen chips

passed m.o.t yesterday, after a few bits of welding, got one of the new certificates with attached recommendations! says couple of chips in windscreen, does this mean new one or can little chips be repaired and at what price :?:

Not sure about cost, but little stone chips can be easily repaired. I think you can even get a windscreen repair kit from halfords for about ?15-?20.

Had a chip right in the middle of the screen last year, I really didnt realize how much of nuisance it was till I had a new window. Bloke who fitted it took minutes....?60

I used to work for Autoglass, so long as there ae no cracks comin from the chips they can be repaired, it used to be about ?35 to repair, oh and as long as they aint miuch bigger than a pound coin as well!!
