Do anyone know what would be involved with/if it would be worth adapting four SUZUKI GSXR600 SRAD CARBS to fit onto a 1.3L Nova?

people have done it with bike throttle bodies, but I think a 600 bike engine might be a bit small on the airflow, what diameter are they?

IIRC yamaha YZF600's use around 36mm chokes on their carbs, plenty big enough.

its weather you can get suitable jets+emulsion tubes etc thats the main thing...

yea ive done it before.. big thing in grass racers.

you dont need to get the jets if you have the weber drill bits as the jets can be recalibrated.

and they dont have emulsion tubes...most have needles

wot would I need to do then? Do I have to build an inlet manifold?

and wot are the Weber drill bits?

thanks for your help!

you need to fabricate a manifold , easiest way is to cut up a std one in order to get the flange piece.

then you alloy weld 4 round runners to it and use GSXR600 or 1000carbs/ throttle bodies. they have a round runner.. you mate the 2 with the piipes from the bike carbs to airbox (on the bike).

just a matter of setting the linkage bars to align properly and set the balance.

weber jet drills are very expensive- about ?200, but a must if you do lots of rolling road work on engines

sorry a couple of things I don't understand:

Do you mean a standard nova one or suzuki one?
What is a round runner?
you mate the 2 with the pipes from the bike carbs to airbox?

what is setting the balance?

do I need the weber jet drills then, what are they for?

thanks again,

what sizes are these webber drill sizes, i take it they are just really small drill bits, i think i can get down to 0.2mm in work but not sure
