Right, i'm just curious at the mo but might follow up on it a bit more, Is there a Major difference between the 1400 and 1600 engines? I'm told the 1400 is a lot weaker and generally the 1.6 is just a better engine, is this true? Also, can i just stick one in my Car, slap on a set of 40s or is there engine management or an EUC that's needed as well?

Almost identicle. Heads are exactly the same, and will bolt staright in pretty much.

Cant just slap a set of T40s, due to the fact there is no dissy, you will need aftermarket management...

between ?100ish for megajolt, and ?500ish for "real" engine management. But if your going to get an aftermarket management its best to get an all singing and dancing one that will run injection too as it will hold its resale value better then just an ign only version.

Right, was just curious. I was offered a Rear End Smashed 16 16 Vectra Cheap and was considering it, but it seems like a lot of money and hassel when compaired to slaping in a GSi Engine and a set of T40s.....
