dont worry, when i got my car (3weeks ago) used to stall when startn, then got the hang of it was piss stay above 1k revs (if you hold the pedal at 2k the revs automatically drop till it stalls) then when the revs hold them self at 2k your fine drive off put choke in after about 10 seconds

now its cold its,, hold revs above 1k which is alot of hardwork as it FLIES DOWN TO 0 if u dont rev, takes about 4minutes on a freeezin mornin before i can pull away, but once its away its away

WTF cant anybody use a choke

just start car with choke out , no need for revs , and gradually push choke in as needed to hold a contant amount of revs

obviously you wont have it at a constant 2k now will you

calm dowm mate, iv read about and the chokes are different as you can spossidly adjust em easily.....

if i got up tomoro started the car held the choke out no revs itd stall mate, and if i just pull it and hold it as far out as i can i just flood the engine,

lol you pull it out say just over half way

and the revs will be held at say 3K as the car gets to operating temp and you need the revs will rise , so push choke in a little so that you can hold the amounts of revs which you need say just over 1k

you can also adjust the choke cable if needed - where it connects to the carb

All cuz you needed a new Carb? I'd have gone back to the Mechanics with it so, couldn't have been fitted very well then.
