centre heater blowing cold air

any ideas on how to solve this? i also need to block the air to the centre blowers as i have modded the centr console to fit a tach metre, insted of the 2 vents. will this screw up the blower motor by blockin a pipe?

I think its a good idea tbh.

When the car fogs up and its not that cold (raining etc) and you have to nail the heater flat out to clear the screen, I open teh middle vents to cool down!
