Sunroof glass - help & advice required

Hi,

Just wanted to pick everyones brains ......... I have a factory fitted sunroof (made in 1988) and the glass part has seen better days as the glass is starting to lift where its bonded to the metal frame on the underside . Also this frame is starting to rust in places as well!

Anyway I was thinking that this needs replacing as it will annoy me when the nova is put back together with everything nice and clean and shiney but with a sh!tty sunroof.

Will the glass from other newer models (like a corsa B or an Astra mk3) fit????? Just want to know before I fork out for a decent one from the scrappers whether any will fit???

joff is it a tilt and slide sunroof ,

if it is i have a spare one here thats not needed

What condition is it in mate - mine old one is rusting and the seal on the front edge is parting at the join.

Best to measure & maybe the bolt centres too for the mountings.

Any gen on your rebuild Joff?

New update on my thread - the newer style sunroofs I have noticed have 3 bolt holes per side - the older ones like mine only have 2 .

May need to think on this one a bit!
