ok i am seriousley looking into buying a nova sr, i would be using the car for track days mostly but sometimes out on the road, i just have a few questions to ask seeing as i have no previous experiance with novas.
1) how tunable i the 1.3 sr compared to the 1.4, ie what mods will give what increase in power etc??
2) do the 1.3 and 1.4 nova sr come with a 5 spd box, iff not is it worth chainging to one??
3)what would be the best base car for a track car the 1.3 or 1.4??

any help is very much appreciated also specs of your nova sr's

cheers ppl

1.3SR. Its got a much better head as the ports are more flow Friendly and as far as i mind, they've more BHP STD? Both cars are similarly tuned but I'm told the 1400 Bottom end with the 1300 head is a better job, Anyway, get the 13SR and a 14 bottom end and just do the usual Brake and Suspension upgrading and you'll be fine.

1400 bottom end with cammed and carbd 1300 head = lots of power from a small engined car :lol:

yeah 1.4sr cam and ignition with 1.3 head and inlet is the best combination from the 'sr pool'.

Go for a 1400SR, more bhp than the 1300SR, and only let down by its crap head and inlet.
So once you sort the inlet and head with a 1300sr/1200 one, your laughing :) :lol:

Or if you go for t40's, get a 1400MPI head on the 1400 bottom end.

Depends what 1.4 you have

1.3 = 70bhp

1.4SPi = 60bhp
1.4 Carb = 72bhp
1.4MPi = 82bhp

^ thats probably not 100% accurate but you get the idea
