Main jet delay

OK i sorted the blocked jet on my carb, i sorted the idling out so it aint idling too high, i went for a drive today..then i went out before and theres a problem with it, im certain theres no fuel going in at 2000-2200RPM...ish, i think theres a delay between the time the idling jet stops and the main jet starts, would i need to increase the idle revs to cover the 200RPM gap?

oh sorry mate, its a 1.2 running on a pierburg standard carb :D

are you saying ...when you put youre foot to the floor ....its like a delay than sudden power?
