evening all,

has anyone seen the squarepusher live? just wanting to know what he's like, active like moby or dull as dish water like the chemical brothers. as i'm doing some live shots of him next week.

cheers

well. i have to say that The Squarepusher was musically excellent, but visually was lacking somewhat. one man three pc's a bass, a rack and two screens.

apparently he is brilliant when he has his band with him. everyone seemed to have a top night. if jazz meets IDM is your thing then catch him before he finishes the tour.

i should hape that you already have plenty, the original IDM man is the Aphex Twin, he was wondering round the venue all night too, nice bloke.

also of interest, Death in Vegas, DJ Shadow, Mr. Scruff, Cinematic Orchestra, Jason Swinscoe, Davis Holmes, The Psylonaut.

enjoy :D

clint mansell is always a good option, most famous for the pi sountrack as well as his work with the kronos quartet.
also you can't fault a bit of nighmares on wax for some funky chilled sounds.
quantic are rather snazzy too.

i spend far too much time around music.

also i should hope that you already have lamb, manchesters finest that gave 4 superb albums.

enjoy
