View Full Version : 13's????
I have been offered a set of 5 13's they are 5 spokes and will fit on my nova which i currently have without me having to change my tyres e.t.c. I was, however, wondering if 13's look any good or whether they are too small. If anyone knows or if they know where there is a picture of some 13's on a nova somewhere on the web could they please let me know

they`ll look shite way too small
at least 15`s
They don't look shite at all, not if you get a half decent 5-spoke style and drop the nova at least -60 .
On my nova that got stolen , i had 13" TSW Alpines, they looked phat on a low drop, i'd recommend it if you dont wanna falk out ???'s on a new or 2nd hand set of rims .

lol
I'd not bother personally when you can get a set of Vauxhall "perfect fit" 14's or 15's with tyres for ?40 to ?150.....suppose it depends just how cheep the 13's are.
Cheepest Vaux alloys are probably the Astra GTE ones with the holes round the edges....look almost like proper racing alloys especially in white, and dirt cheep.....seen sets with tyres a few times locally for ?40 to ?60.
The "LX" 8-spoke alloys are dirt cheep too....I had a set on my first two Novas before I got my Cav GSi 15's.....smart looking for the price and were the height of fashion on Novas a few years back.
Other alternative is simple a set of wide 14" steelies from an Astra or Cav.....even cheeper in the free-adds papers. Spray 'em or stick on some trims.....you may laugh, but they'd look miles better than 13's :p
the price i have been offered is ?50 for all 5 still reckon its not worth it? There is a picture of a nova with 5 spoked 13's on this site under the featured cars section which has not been lowered and i think it looks pretty sweet!?!?!
13" Wheels look the bollocks with really low suspension.
BTW, I've got a set of 5 spoke Fondmetals for sale (?70) with some meaty tires as well.

Go for the euro look!

go for it. Wots ?50! If they look shite you can always flog em on again cant u. I got a quote 4 my 14" SR 3 spokes yesterday - Pirelli 175/65's less than ?160 for full set inc fitting, balancing and valves. Rims themselves only cost my ?100 4 yrs ago with brand new tyres on. Wish the bastuds in me area ud quit nickin me centre caps!

?50 for 13's is still too much......they'd have to pay me to fit them lol
As for the Euro look.....oh dear!
If you like 'em...then go for it....it's just that people WILL laugh...no offence but they WILL.
Why not get a set of the Nova 13" three-spokes.....they're a similar design to the 14" ones but with solid spokes as apposed to having slots.
(That's a joke btw)
rich's got a point - unless your car is decked they will look like clown wheels. hunt a local scrappy for a set of alloys - if they are scuffed do em up.
so complicated! dont know what to do gunna have to go and check them out!
u could chek em oot by fitting them to your car to see wot they look like. Try b4 u buy kinda thing. If they look naff dannae botha. Yor call...post some pics though if you get em...;)
yeah if i get them i will post some pics for sure so stay tuned! do any of you guys have pics in the feature cars section? i wud like to see ur cars ;)

year your car can sit realy, realy low on 13" mate was a 1.5cm off the floor got beached loads of times bottom of car was hit many times was -90mm on 13's but dont go that low wont be able to go down street very easy like my mate we soon change the wheels to 15's and rolled arches etc...to get em to fit with such a low drop!
I'd got -60mm with em!
