due to the madly varying cost of furl, simply stating "i get X miles to ?10" is a really bad way of putting it lol
With the omega i used to have i got 26mpg on a combined drive.
the 205 TD is great i get 47mpg ragging the arse off it and about 60 driving conservatively.
the 1.2 carbed nova i used to drive would get anywhere between 15mpg (round swansea) to 50mpg when i had no cash so had to make a tank last

38mpg on a motorway run.
30-34 for 15-25 mins journeys.

As Stu said please no one state 'i get .... miles for ?10'
its pointless.

I get roughly 3 mpg out of my XE. They are track miles though.
As for on the road SBD reckon that you can get up to 40mpg with throttle bodies. But I highly doubt that. Also what mpg you get really depends on how you drive.

I used to have a company car that had a mpg display. I usually got about 20mpg out of it. However someone else drove the thing and got about 28mpg and I didn't think I drove that car very hard at all.

im gonna check, im doin 130motorway drive tontie so ill check, seeems really bad on petti though, possibly depends on ur exhaust system an mods, an its got a big exhaust with 4-1 manifold, seems to be really bad town driving an small by pass, i seem to have around

?10 - about 10 litres an that seems to get me about 40-60 miles, which is awfull, im used to about 80-90, on a 1.6 16v, but i guess there is sum sacrifices for driving a more fun car,

In the nova I used to get about 35mpg I think... thats for a 1.2 carb. Celica does about 25mpg if i take it easy, If my foot gets heavy that drops considerably

Worst mpg I've ever experienced was on Pug Run - 16 miles round Crawley area in my mates GTi-6 and we used up half a tank :o

Fill the tank right up. Set mileometer to 0.

Drive for xxx amount of miles, Fill tank right up again and see how many litres it took to do so.

divide litres by 4.55 to get gallons. then divide your miles by gallons = ...mpg.

not exactly rocket science.

35-40 mpg in my old 1.6 GTE with mild mods, but as soon as I put the boot down, that fell stupidly to about 20-25mpg!

My 200SX I got 35mpg by doin mostly 80mph from Brum to Pompey, (160 miles) but around town about 25-30mpg
