hey, the radiator fan dont come on but the fan is working. what do i need to sort it? cheers lee

thermostat on the radiator? on the drivers side (1.0 by the way, want to get her ready for sellin) i unpluged that out of the radiator and bridged it to prove the fan worked.

There should be something on ur rad with two wires coming out, its that thats fucked

get two lengths of wire and a switch , put one wire on each of the terminal and then wire them to the switch and voila!! fan switch!!

Manulal fan switch!

who says your car is getting hot enough for it to come on??

my cavvy goes to about 102 before fan comes on lol

good point

the reason i think its gone is casue the water was boiling out of the water bottle. would that be a good judgement of it? last thing i want to do is melt the engie for the sake of testing. and would like to avoied puttin a switchin in

Just bridge the wires and leave it like that the fan will run with the engine :lol:

lol, thats the way. the temp hand dont even work so ya cant tell when shes gettin to hot, a well

just get a water temp switch from scrappies ...probabaly be free for all it is .....make sure its from a nova tho as astra and cavvy switches wont come on at the right time
