Blocked jets?

I think one of my fuel jets are blocked, my car starts first time and there are no problems, but as soon as i touch the accelerator it'll rev up then quickly die, when driving along, it happily toddles along without touching the accelerator but when its pushed it gets all juderry, basically it sounds like its fuel starved, any ideas and what have i got to do to fix it? :cry:

What engine?

Take the air filter off and look down into the carb, and then open the throttle and check to see that the fuel is going in nice and evenly, and uninterrupted.

Its only a 1.2, just looking at the haynes to see which nozzle its coming out of, i've already took the filter off and looked down it, not sure if its the right one im looking at so i'll just explain it :lol: the one inside the carb, when you press the accelerator fuel comes out with the movement of the throttle linkage, thats the only one i can see fuel coming out of :?
