I am really tempted to do a bad boy bonnet. I was reading the guide in Total Vauxhall magazine and It doesn't look too hard. The only thing I'm confused about is opening the bonnet. Once it is finnished, how do you get to the bonnet catch to pop the bonnet.

Has anyone seen how you do this ?

im in the middle of make'n one myself, i'm planning on welding a small bended piece of metal on to the existing latch which will be behind the bonnet extention so you can feel it when you put your hand behind :D

or you could just cut a hole in the grill

Good old parce force hey ;)

When I was considering it (may still do it....maybe), I was thinking along the lines of what brian said i.e making an extension to weld to the standard bonnet catch...seams the best option.

you could cut a hole in the grille big enough for your hands to go though to reach the handle, the extension will cover it, i've seen this done somewhere but can't remember where... Ste

I am considering this too!
I dont want my car going into a bodyshop again, so may as well get it over and done with!!

Where can I get the extension already made from? CC Motorsport I know, but after being slated recently, I dont know whether I should be using them!!!

Me?? nah mate!! I just boot the car around (or rather I would if I had it!)
I may start learning all this stuff myself though, it would be alot handier!
I shall ask my garage bloke if he knows how to do it for me... he is doing everything else.

I emailed PAG, he had probs with CCM, so I aint using them, EVER.
HOW IS YOURS GETTING ALONG BRIAN ?
