Engine Painting

Ive just recently painted my engine and box but hav also seen a few pics over the last few months of peoples painted engines and i just want to see how ive done and wether it looks any good in comarison!

so if you have painted your engine please could you post a pic for me to have a gander at?

I painted the sump, the rest was chemical cleaned, except for the cam housing and rocker cover which I painted myself using hamerite smooth spray paint.

There are plenty of other engines that have been cleaned. Keiths makes mine look like a oil piece of pap, lol.

lol... Not anymore Jim. Mine is now a mess. Carbs are impossible to keep clean, unless your names Karl Rowntree... No idea how he keeps his bay so good.

my engine was as clean as jims, till i started to actually work on it lol

i recon karl just sends his carbs back and gets a new set for every show lmao

not quite in the league of the others and still need to finish. but i did do mine whilst it was in the car so it aint that bad

I think i will go for all black and a chrome rocker it will hide the dirt better :wink:
