Hi all, have just joined this site after buying a little humble 1.2 merit after killing a 325iSE e30!! Anyway i need help and advice on how to turn this humble little nove into something a little more special.

I owned a pre facelift GTE around two years ago but rot got the better of her and i kno that these things can shift and handle wi the rite engine/mods etc. so go easy on me and dont slag me to much!! LOL!

Tidy Nova mate...tbh i,d clean it and keep it as normal as poss....or at the most , pop a lowering set on it - dont go too low the ride gets too bumpy , some alloys , remove the sidebump strips ( if youve nothin better to do for a week or 6 cept pick glue from paintwork ) and enjoy....what ever you do , you,ll want to sell it on one day...good luck.

welcome to Novaloafers....

Welcome to NL mate :D

nice and tidy keep it a sleeper mate

get a gsi with throttle bodies or if you really want to go all out, get a 2 litre with throttle bodies (list of cars above some where lol)

and personal choice for alloys is speedlines. everyone says then been done to death and they have but still love them on novas

:D

What size of rims are u runnin mate?? Theres 13's on the bak of mine and 14's on the front, the springs are defo uprated as they are red and you can just about make out the PI logo on them, tho the guy that had the car had fitted them and done two auto tests in her with them and then she sat in his yard so they maybe havent fully settled in yet. That and the fact that urs is an sri, would they not have sat slightly lower any way and would they not use different springs?? Not sure like just asking. I know for a fact that the GTE on stock springs sat lower than the basic nova on stock springs

Here's a pic of the bmw:

LOL!! its gud to look at mate but it aint a great drivin car, very unpredictable, u go in to one corner she pushes the nose, go into the next she'll throw the tail(that bits fun) but she wont do the same on the same corner.

Anyway she needs a head gasket and i cant be arsed to do it so im sellin her!! first ?800 lifts her!!
