anyone know if the vauxhall 1.7 td engines found in the astra's an cav's are valve safe??

not from what I can remember, tbh the only one I've ever seen in the past was doing 80 when the belt let go with a woman driving, she left it in gear until it slowed to 40......... :roll:

very few diesel motors are valve safe and the izuzu certainly isnt
