more problems..i think its the gearbox..ish

I got more problems, basically i have to take the revs high to change gear, i bought the car the other day, i cant change into third at anything below thirty, i only know the speed of third because of the 30 limit, it happens with all the gears, if i drop below 30 or something the car starts chuddering along, its stalled a couple of times like this, it doesn't like the choke at all either, it stalls alot when its on and its drinking lots of petrol

any ideas :?

shuddering and gear change sounds like ur clutch has had it. not a big job on a nova though. the choke and excess fuel could be carb nt set up properly or blocked etc.

I found the fuel mixtures running rich, so that needs seeing to, the other problem was shuddering when the engine started to die, not clutch takeup, I had the choke on full and forgot about it, i sorted it and it runs right :oops:
