theres an l reg nova van down the road from me, he'd sell it to me but its not in that good a condition and i don't see the point in spendin money gettin it tidy just for its reg.

No mate, its an L reg nova 1.2 sx - hardly see many L reg novas about.

Right at a guess (not many ppl are stuid enough to put bages on)
I would say form what riggy said as well its either had a 1.6 16v convertion or 20xe in there,hence the gsi16v bage..

If you put a 2.0 16v engine in and keep the car registered as a 1.2 or 1.4 or whatever and you tell your insurance company that the car is a 2.0 16v, are you actually legally insured or does your log book have to reflect the actual engine size for the insurance to be valid?

log book should match, even more if going from 1.2 to 1600 or 2000cc because then it is tax fraud

i remember seeing a 1.2 red L reg round here doing some sick hand brake tuns in a car park by about 6 chavs. What a shame.
