will this fit my 1.2

hi i brought this some time lastweek off the net and it finaly arived 2day i was told it came off a 1.2 but i wouldent no so can you tell me if it would fit cheers

The base plate looks nothing like the 1 i had on my old 1.2 engine m8

what engine is it for 1.2 carb or 1.2i?, an which do you have as there is a difference.

looking at it, don't look like it will fit either, due to the base plate, and amount of holes on top...

carbs have 3 studs, and thats got 4 holes, plus the shape looks wrong where it attaches to the carbs etc

My carb only had 2 bolds on the 1.2 :o

if its got 2 bolts it SPI.... looks just like a carbs...

Looking at it, i doubt it fits a nova carb or SPI throttle body.
It has 2studs like spi has, but the studs on a spi tb are not in a line, they are more diagonal if you get me.

My 1.2 was defo a carb and so was my sr but it has 3 bolts
and my 1.6 carbed cavalier engine has 2 bolts :o

Carbs have 3 studs
SPI tb has 2 studs.

Dont know about the cav carb, its probably a different carb to nova ones.

yer it doesnt look like mine..as above carb should have 3 bolts and the whole is round not that shape......i wouldnt put it on!

Should be a round hole set to one side with three studs to fit the pierburg 1b1, plus an extra stud that does nothing but hold the two plates together at the other end, I've still got the one I had on all three of my 1.2's as I had to take it off the last one, dammed weber 36tlp was too tall for it.
