I have one of those wrap around spoilers on my nova - car is red - spoiler is factory grey. I want to colour code it with the car but concerned the paint will crack as the spoiler is slightly flexible. Anyone got any tips on best paint to use/prep work before hand?

someone once told me something about adding some sort of thickening stuff to the paint which made it slightly flexible when it was dry to match but i dont remember what it was he used.
???
He showed me though and it worked.

i take it you have not seen 2pac paint all dried up because you forgot to wash the gun after use ermmmmm that has a lot of flex in it if you mix it right, celly will crack every time (seen your other post) ;)

Thanks for the above. What about an acrylic based paint? Is Acrylic more flexible? What about priming with plastic paint 1st then spraying? Plastic primer I've been told is bendy and wont crack? will that work? Don't really want to try it without knowing if will work 1st time. Anyone any other ideas?

plastic primer is more flexible. but the paint that goes on top of it isnt, so it will still crack if flexed to much.
