bonnet struts

i fitted some bonnet struts and they raise the back of the bonnet when shut, how can i fix it?

have you tried undoing the bolts that hold the bonnet on? if not loosen them right off and then see if you can adjust it to sit right

are you sure youve fitted them so that the struts can close properly?

i got some on mine, and they lift the back of the bonnet,

not sure if you can stop it, but it aint that noticable on my car lol

Many moons ago, I had some metro boot lifters fitted to the bonnet. I found I had to put the mounting holes in the wings as far inward as poss, so they didn't hit the bonnet, and also had to flatted the lip of the top part of the bulkhead (well, that flimsey bit).
