1.8 any good

just been offerd a 1.8 cavvy for the engine witch looks like its been looked after but i ve been told there a pian to fit into a nova because they r a big block could any on help me in how to fit and are they any good ??

Not worth the hassle, might as well fit a 2.0l 16v or at least a SRi 130 2.0 8v engine.

IIRC the 1.8 8v is about 110BHP which is heavy and low power.

thanks mate is the 2.0 8valve cavvy engine i ve been told that they are a big block so u have to move mounts and sopposd to be a right chew on please could you help on that one thanks james

ok would ay one be able to give me an idea on wat u need 2 do to fit a 2litre 8 v as ive been told u need to move mounts and is supposedly a right chew on with it been a big block many thanks james
