iv'e got three at the moment an 1.3sr, 1.4sr and a 1.2i.
also had a 1.2i which was wrote off and another 1.4sr which was stripped and scrapped.
the 1.2i i have at the moment is provisionally sold and should be replaced with sumut better.

1.0 with 1.4sr engine in (sitting there rusting away)
gsi (shafted engine)
may get another gsi if its still for sale this week
may even get 1.2 if a nice 1 crops up to reshell the gsi with the shafted engine.

I've paid attention to detail as well, and used the 1297cc Engine as found in the periodic nova days along with periodic mk1 headlights, grill bumper and even clear repeaters.

Overall I?m happy with my saxo, It started life as a 1.0l with VTS badges . . .

I bought a 1.3 SR when I was 16, and did a bit of work to it for when I passed my test, however when I started ringing around for insurance quotes when I was nearer 17, I realised the SR had to go!!

After the SR, I was lucky enough to find a 1.0 Gem that had been lightly rear ended, so I persuaded the old lady that owned it to get the insurance company to pay out and let her keep the car, so I got a nice 1 owner Nova with 40,000 miles for ?100!!
?50 later and the damage was fixed (was very lucky and got a tailgate the right colour!!!), got an insurance quote I could afford, and was on the road!

It lasted almost a year, when I decided I needed a derv, so sold it! (have regretted it ever since because it was MINT!)

Have had 2/3 for "field" use in between the 1.0 and my current GSi project!

Also have a Breeze Blue SRi bought, but haven't got round to collecting it yet!!!

1.4sr which was my first car
1.6 gsi which I later turbo'd, then wrote it off!
1.6 gsi which I own for about a week then sold
1.6 gsi turbo which I have now.

But I might make it 5 soon as I want to buy another one over the winter as a runabout?

Ive just bought a 1.2 Luxe + on a K plate. Bought it as a works run around, but as I have been deprived of using the GSi for nearly 2 yrs Ive got the Nova bug again (hence on here more) & am starting the mods on the Lux.

Lol i'l second that - You pay even more for an engine conversion than you would if it were a real GSi

I struggled to get insurance and i'm 19 with 2 years driving - i think Skoob found it challenging to get a good qoute too ??

I've only had one - 1.2 Luxe, now a E16ST40 Luxe/GSi mishmash lol

I doubt i'l ever sell this, or buy another - Want something American with 8 cylinders for my next car
