i am looking to buy a sub and amp i have about 300 quid what should i get i want it as loud as possible and loads of bass

fully sound deaden your car first will make any sub sound louder...

and will stop the rattles

All behide the panles and everywhere you can,lol and put something behind the plate as they rattle like fook...

As for subs get JBL and something like a Legacy amp mailorder it all dont buy from rippofspeed or anythgin like that.

umm persnal chioce i guess i aways think you pay for sonys name and get shit good with in car audio,go for jbl my self.

buy a mono bloc amp and ask a dealer over the net which is the best suited sub for your money.

then do the sound deadening.

from sounds of things, you want to be a high street crawler with gay music pounding out. if you want a quality sound, then go for the deadening and then the sub and amp.
