Hi,i fitted a standard carb back on my nova and theres a wire coming off it and i dont know what it wires upto,all fuel hoses etc are plugged in just this wire,its a 1.4 engine by way.any help appreciated cheers.i will get a pic if no1 understands what i mean cheers.

to a certain extent hes right,

run it without the wire (if this is possible) and see what happens.

if it idles high or something like that, then its most likely autochoke.

could it be a breather pipe?, i know some are desceptively wire-like

i converted a 1.0 to 1.4sr and i just left the wire of i didnt effect it wot so ever 8)

if its a black with yellow wire its for the autochoke , connects to the white spade plug infront of carb :lol:
