Theres a good improvement.
Feels a lot better to drive, its quicker, and sounds better too.

:)

Well worth doing it.

i had a flick through the beloved haynes manual about doing this.

neither engines are really covered by it.

91' j plate GSi (dont know engine code - you probably do)
92' K plate C12NZ

it covers the OHV engines, unless im very much mistaken.

any guides anywhere 4 doing this swap?

or jst some help?

I have done it yes mate.
I did it using a rocker removal tool, so you can remove the cam without undoing the headbolts etc.
It took me an afternoon to do, and was quite fiddly with the tool, but worth it :)

Its also worth replacing the cambelt whilst your at it.

Haynes manual will tell you how to do it, by removing the cam carrier/head etc.
But that way you have to replace the headbolts, headgasket etc.

all the ohv engines are the same so therefor the haynes does cover it
