IM going to paint my rusty brakes drum's any ideas on colour ? i got a lazer blue nova i was think red but told it highlights the fact i got drums so not a good thing to addvitis sliver ? black blue match the frount brake callperies?

If you want to hide the fact (or rather 'not draw attention to') you have drums then black...

Revotec Pro discs... its the only way to go in my opinion.

Like Jack said though, black if you wanna paint them to hide them.

Used to have mine silver and they looked shit!! Drums look best in hammerite black.

i had mine white to match my nova
you could always buy new drums and laquer them for that shiney effect

of course i dont have this problem now as i have a golf gti and have discs all round :lol:

I painted my drums blue, but now i don't like them so there going to be painted silver or black

i painted them sliver well my new set sliver i manged to magle the thread on old set just need to fit then can be a pain in the ars job so going to give it a go soon. will do front calpers same colour but that will wait

my front ones are black (standard for wilwoods) and rears are rusty :lol:

I would do them in Gold with redstuff pads up front!!
jus wire brush the calipers and drums then get a tin of hammerite gold!!

Personally mate Black is the best to go for. Goes with all colours, doesnt look tacky and less dirt visible.

I did my calipers and drums in gloss black. Look very tidy.

But as always each to their own. Your choice :thumb:

Black, or leave them in an attractive shade called "Standard rust". Silver might be a bit OTT, esp if you got silver wheels, it will attract attention away from them.
