i was doing around 30 in 3rd gear and the car just died dash lights didnt come on at first but did eventually anyone got any ideas to what would cause this to happen

thing is when it cut out i hadnt just changed gear or anything i was on the accelerator

My nova use to cut out but if you left it it then restarted it was ok, turned out it needed a new fuel pump :?

mine restarted pretty much instantly it was just really weird how it cut out did yours do it often and how often

Gradualy more and more till it realy started to piss me off :lol: so i put a huge fuel filter after the pump to gather the fuel and that helped till i got a new pump.

Your pump could just be on its way out but am no sure how to check them :?

seems to be quite common but.
