reinforcing suspension turrets...nova gte tops?

can i buy the spot welded gte turret caps to fit to my SR to strengthen it a bit>? any advantages?

Go to parts catalogue, nova, bodyshell and there the N0133 top strut plates @ ?7.50ea.

Not sure weather you would notice much difference but for that price i would stick em on anyway.

i personally think they will make naff all difference...... they dont attach to anything bar the turret top, so offer no bracing etc lol.

ive never been able to work out the point in them. only thing i can think is if you have a roll cage that goes to the front turrets they add abit of extra material to weld to :?

And the origional group A cage didn't attatch to that point anyway, just to where the two pilot holes are in the small well to the side.
