View Full Version : Speedlines on rear with 60mm drop

Do you need to mod the arches with 16" Speedline Alesio (sp.) wheels on?

Back is lowered 60mm - possibly putting 70mm Coilspring springs on.

depend if its on mk2 or mk1

if mk2 you should get away with it if your on correct et mesurements

if mk1 will need to do some mods as the inner and outer arches are 1.5 inches closer

best i could find,
was lowing but had rubbing probs...so had to raise her a bit pic taken just after she came off the jack..

yeah thats the center box,
cars a lil higer now due to rubbing,

when it was fully low it was rubbing at the top of the inside of the arch when the shoch bolts thru in to the boot,
but DONT rub on the arch lips at all!

my cars dropped on 16's but they are slightly wider then the speedlines and dropped 100mm the only prob is they rub on outer arch until i bought some tilted sidewall tyres
