Which brakes???

I need some new discs and pads for my nova 2.0 16v with Astra GTE calipers had EBC one's and they were rubbish any recommendations and links to cheap suppliers please??

Try genuine vauxhall disks and pads in the Astra setup, supposed to be a very good setup, very little fade and lots of bite when cold :wink:

I'd reccommend the GM Vaux discs but not the pads as they fade when hot, admittedly they are good from cold. They leave a horrendous amount of brake dust behind also. Ive used EBC greenstuff with the GM discs (16v setup) & it coped until I had the turbo lump fitted.

i had vaux pads an green stuff pads on mine and they were great when you got some heat into them, did a few track days on them an they were all good.

I'm goin to get some new pads and try them on the ebc discs first, any suggestions which pads also one's compatable with std GM discs.

allways use vx stuff,
found they work the best

try the mintex 1134 i think, well priced and good stopping power and you should be fine with the vauxhall discs, afterall they were designed to stop cav's and astra's so they should be fine on a hova
