wheels and brakes

Quick one really, im gonna have t change my wheels to fit astra brakes on my car, but dont wanna get flashy wheels.

Anyway just wondered if anyone can verify that the 16v brakes will go under these, although i think they will just wanna make sure (ebay link sorry)

why u gonna have to change your wheels?

coz i have had mixed views on whether the brakes go under mine. Mostly people saying i will need slightly wider wheels. Mine are only 5inch wide and i dont wanna be putting worn pads in or taking any metal off the caliper like people have said to get them to fit

So i want some slightly larger or wider wheels so they go on easily

im not sure but if your running astra gsi 16v braks you need 15 inch aolly, but if they are just astra brakes you need to find out what size the wheel was they came off

Im on about the GTE 16v ones with ATE calipers. Apparently you can get them under 14s but they need to be at least 5.5 inch wide, which mine aint

no i dont think much of them either really, but i dont want it to look flashy like i say. Im trying to build a sleeper car but with some nice 600 pound OZ's that wont be the case will it

yes they will definately fit. They are astra 16v wheels, so they will go over the brakes. I have the same set up on my nova rally car and have had no rubbing with a 185/65/14 tyre

just use the wheels from the car the brakes are from! :| Astra GTE alloys or gloss black cavvy rims 8)

what everyone else said really those wheels came on the astra GTE an came with the brakes you are fitting so they will fit.

think they fit under them wheels mate my mates missus had them on hers.y not go 4 some astra sport 6 spokes or cav gsi? :?:
