The long colder nights will be upon us soon dear Britons , therefore I,ll be in my garage on the MTB treadmill, trying to shed a stone or so , and apart from visiting this site , trying to stay out of the pub , and flying me powerkite ( if its sunny ) I,ll be hammering the Ps2 and X-box till hibernation passes . Therefore - any good games out there ??

Shoot em ups are a fave ( speshly www2 killing the hun )

Burnout Revenge is a good one and Rainbow Six: Lockdown.

I just got LA Rush last night, but haven't played it yet. Or for a good hacking and slashing game, try Spartan Total Warrior.

Dont bother with Brothers in Arms:Earned in Blood, it is hugely boring!

Thanks for the advise on Brothers in arms....I was tempted , but after several people confirming the game boring , I,ll pass on that one.
Has anyone played Metal gear solid 3 - Snake eater ..?

I was blown by the first MG but the second one still sits in the bookshelf - it was more like a movie than a game !!

I've played and completed MGS3 yup its good.
There are some nice touches to the game this time. Like you can kill the animals that run around and eat them :wink:
Also you pick up different camoflage that you can use to make yourself more stealthy.

I've just completed MGS Ac!d as well on the PSP which is better, alot better than I though it would be.

Im playing Darkwatch at the mo which is ok but not brilliant. Its more of a shoot everything game a bit like Painkiller.

FarCry Instincts was also another good game, but I played it on the XBox this time and it didn't compare to the PC version of the origonal. That however may have something to do with playing it on a console. It also seemed shorter than the origonal as well.

I still love TOCA RaceDriver 2 which is a very good driving game. You really do get a good feel for the cars.

Any Burnout game you get you will like. They are just pure fun! and a great arcade style driving game.

Myst V is also nice but if you don't like Myst games then don't bother! You will endup just leaving the game alone.

Don't get 187 Ride or Die its shocking! I didn't like it one bit.

which mgs game is it where you perform surgery on yourself to dig bullets out etc? that sounds cool! ive got mgs 2 on 2 discs but they dont work lol good job they were cheap.


oh if you can get it nearly free, simpsons hit and run is fooking hillarious! its like GTA but obv simpsoned.

Stuart - Thats MGS3 Snake Eater. Although in the others I seem to remember having bandages and stuff but not using them. In MGS3 it really is apart of the game.

mgs great games havnt played the 3rd game yet cause havnt touch me ps2 (until 2 weeks ago) for months
i got jiuced a 2 weeks ago and wasnt that happy with it played it twice and put it back in its box not a great game defo perfer nfsu :D
