Which fuel pump do I need when running 48mm carbs? Facet Red Top or Silver Top? Which is better?

Also where does the pump go? In the tank like the standard one?

(I have a 1.2spi)

Hi mate,
I run Weber 48's
I use red top Facet pump.
Its an external pump. Mine sits at the back with regulator under the car.
The thing ticks quite noisey so have it as far away as poss!!!

So with the standard tank (noticed you have a wheel well jobbie - very nice!), would i need to take the existing pump out and blank off the hole?

Slightly confused!

Any people running a standard fuel tank and a red top pump??? - HELP PLEASE!

I did run with a standard tank until start of this year.
You will need to blank of the return pipe and connect the red top to the outlet of tank.
Take of the old pump and discarde it.
Take it you have a Injection tank with external pump to start with?

The tank he will have has an internal pump so I have no idea how you would go about this unless you fit a carb tank or a GTE/GSi tank (preferred option as it has a swirl pot)

No as it has an internal fuel pump.

Just use a tank off of a nova that was originally carbed.

Facet pumps are gravity fed, so mount next to the tank underneath on rubber bobbins.
