cars being painted, should i do the bumpers?

my car is being painted over the next few days and when i dropped it off to be done i told the guy to do the lot, he thinks it would be too much all in one colour and thinks the bumpers should be grey/black to break it up a bit. what you all think?

it's gonna be seat carnica blue which is a pale blue/almost white colour and it's having a gsi front bumper

Well i have seen a seat arosa in this color mate,it realy a strange color as i could hardly tell it had the blue tint to it at first(was a bit murky early in morning) and i have to say as its not seen all the time on many other non seat cars,and as most other people will say go for the black or anthracite bumpers etc,im going to say go full body color as the gray/black bumpers are done to death these days mate,keep it difrent :wink: or it will look a bit(i say a bit) like G-rexy's car.. :P

thats what i thought scott. and i don't like rexy, he's gay, so i don't want people coming on to me at shows because they think i'm him.

seriously though, i was looking for the proper gsi look including black/grey sideskirts but my mate has got me thinking about it.

Colour code the GSI kit, but keep the skirts standard grey, and do your wheels in a nice grey.

Do the bupers mate,but add a small (megan,or other) spliter etc leave that black and do the skirts if you fit them in grey as they wer factory,i look at mine and wish it wernt all coded now.. :roll:

keep em grey mate - clean em then slap coats of car plans bumper black on em each time you wash it for about a month...you,ll be amazed ( my opinion only tho mate ) :D

My Nova's currently in the body shop being resprayed in Seat Canica blue, i'm leaving the GSi bumpers & skirts unpainted.
I reckon you should colour code your bumpers !! :wink:
I seen the colour a few year ago on a Seat Arosa and thought it looked kinda cool, think i've only ever seen another 2 or 3 Seats in that colour never seen it on anything else.
Oh well, at least you've got good taste !
