as already said.

all the extra's you have will only put the price up for a boyracer. they'll look at those kind of things.

if you are trying to sell it to someone who knows what they are looking for, they'll ignore all those extra's you've added to it.

as said, if shell is mint, then pos ?500
if its rotten.

you'd be better off selling all the parts and going back to std and selling it for 100. (new driver approach)

I,d have loved to have done similar bits n bobs to mine - engine / exhaust mods ect , but in relation to some remarks I,ve recieved about my Nova ,( its gonna look too boy racer and thrashed if you do that...ect ) I,ve kept it as basic looking and tidy as possible. In fact its only had 15inch foxes added and been dropped 30mm and had the side bumpers removed . This is based due to one day letting it go for sale ( saying that her indoors now wants it -lol) therefore it sounds as if youve spent a wad on yours mate , and if I were you ( unless you really need the dosh ) I,d run it till its scrap- but this is only my opinion
Its unfair that these little cars have such reputations , especially after all the work and money that goes into your pride n joy.

I suppose if you do really want to sell it this site is probably the best way to do it..or any mod specialist site......but if theres one thing most folks will be looking for , its the dreaded rust.....I,ve got mates who MOT motors and theyve all said the Nova has a reputation for the stuff.....sadly I,ve been fighting the stuff like a demon.

Theres one thing that a mate of mine has suffered more since he had his windows tinted - Police stoppage - have any other Novaloaders noticed this ??

Hmm, I never had any trouble from the police in my nova, complete with silly bodykit, neons (rarely drove with them on) and tinted windows... According to my local forums the chavs round here do moan about the police stopping them, but then to be fair I never drove my nova like a complete knobhead lol

limo tints all round (legal)
afaik "limo" tint refers to a tint so dark its almost one way glass lol

thanks for all the replies

as it turns out im going to keep the car for a while longer and completely clean it up and keep going with the mods... but thanks for the idea on prices as to where im standing with it at the moment

i think at the moment its worth what i've acctually paid and spent on it so far so im not doing too badly?

also i think im better off selling it as 'boyed up' because i think i'll get a lot more and find it easier 2 sell to some younger guys around my area

thanks again

You need to make the car "stand out" from the rest in some way to get people's attention. Depending on how you do this will define what audience of potential buyers you get... For example, making it tidy, low price, modifying it etc.
