the resin used for makeing glass fibre composits (polyester resin) sets when a catalyst is mixed. this also creates heat and you dont have to bake it. it can take a few hours - even from 12 -24 to set completley. go to a glass bibre suppliers for the bits or even a hobby shop or boat shop

take your time!!! thats the best advice, plus try and mix the right amount - ive been there loads of times not enough mixed and run out 3/4 way through a door pod or summat!

if you can get some stretchy cotton material like babys hats are made from from a fabric suppliers - this can be stretched over door cards and speaker rings and provides a nice shape to apply the resin to, let this harden sand roughly then fill, once filled smooth out til happy then trim

good luck and post some pics when done

do it outside if you can, the fumes contain cancer causing chemicals and burn your eyes and through if you breath enough in, iv had that a few times. the resin sets in most temperatures however 21-26 degrees c is the best, it will just take longer to set in the cold.
