Fuel Pump

On my SRi I have a fuel pump on the right hand side of my wheel well, symmetrical to the exhaust. On my other nova, and a friends, this pump is just forward of the wheel well.

I'm planning to fit a duel exited exhaust, but this pump is slap-bang in the way.

Is it possible to re-locate? Would I experience any problems? Any advice would be much appreciated.

yes you can relocate, but it wants to be as close to the tank as possible and needs to be well away from the exhaust, maybe make a heatshield type box for it
