I know it's not a frickin' nova (it's a REAL car :wink: :lol: ), but it's lush and a complete ebay bargain-?621!! :o
It's covered 152k plod miles (yes it's ex police), but it drives like it's brand new. And the 3.0 v6 and manual box really make it bloody good fun (and comfortable!) to drive.
It's averaging 25mpg at the moment, so it is guzzling the petrol abit, but feck it, i don't want a diesel lol. Hope you like :wink: Sorry about the poor quality..........

Stop posting pics of ships you gippo's!! :lol: It is a barge lol, but it does shift when you put your foot down (although not like a nova would with that kind of power obviously!!). I love it because its powerfull and awesomely comfortable.
I think once i've got a spoiler on it and my irmscher grill it'll be looking schexy :D

the monza, the exhaust has pretty much fell off where the manifolds join it, but i cant do shit to it as they dont make exhausts for it any more. It sounds like fighter jet taking off lol.
^ can you not get one custom made, or will that be ????

i could get one made up but i aint paying 500+ for a custom one or what ever they cost when i dont plan on having that much longer. Plus im getting one of those exhaust spinners on my next car, proper sick

pmsl oh yeah forgot about that one, might take you a while
took me 3 hours to do the plugs (including draining the oil from the passenger side bank plug holes where the rocker gasket had failed)
number 5 HT lead snapped at the connector and guess which HT lead you cant get off the coil pack without taking the scuttle off?..... oh yes number 5 lol. If i were to keep the hoemega id have made up an extension for the coilpack loom and got a new pack + leads and move it all to an acessable place.
oh and dont even think about an exhaust manifold change while the engine/heads are in the car lol

Erm, sounds like fun :lol: Think i'll leave the plugs/leads until next summer and spend a nice hot weekend on them lol
Not planning on changing the manifolds too soon (although they do sap A LOT of power!), but i think the cats will be coming off after the MOT :wink:
Rear wheel drive is quality, although i haven't managed to switch my traction control off yet :?

you have to press it every time you cycle the ign switch.
when tc is "armed" so to speak, the dash light is off, when it comes on to stop the spin (or hold a perfect 5% slide lol) it flashes at you.

indeed, but when the damn thing stepped out unexpectedly at 80 on a dual carridge way the Tc held a lovley slide round it lol (was wet and a lairry curve)

Mine seems to be switched on all the time! (the dash light is always off unless it flashes when its gripping). The TC button doesn't have a light like the aircon etc :?
press the button and see if the dash light turns on constantly...
if it dosent come on then youve probably for a TC fault.
Ahh, i haven't looked at the TC light on the clocks when i press the button-i'll have a look later. If it is broke, i guess its better to be on all the time rather than off lol
they are "on" as default, and when you make use of it, the dash light flashes
to turn TC off, you press the button so that the light on the dash is ilumintaed.
its pretty fooking annoying tbh as the light is jsut "there" all the time lol.
